As a senior who wants to play piano only for myself, Mikkel has made the return to piano lessons a very smooth transition. He offers a very comfortable setting for lessons. He is patient and very passionate about piano. He is able to relate to all ages.

Mikkel is my 7-year old granddaughters piano teacher. I drive her to Mikkels home for her lessons and I can relay first-hand that he is a very dedicated teacher who does a spectacular job helping her focus and stay on task with the material in front of her, despite the fact that my granddaughter likes to converse about a lot of things NOT piano related. His efforts have helped her succeed in learning the basics of playing the piano and enjoying the multiple rewards as well.When I was young, I took organ lessons and my two children also took piano lessons when they were young. So I have a lot of experience with piano and music.I am so grateful that my granddaughter has Mikkel to guide her on her piano journey. I am happy to recommend Mikkel as a very positive and affirming piano teacher/mentor!

Mikkel is a wonderful Piano Teacher! Our 7 year old daughter has been taking piano lessons with him, and it has been a great experience! Mikkel is a great communicator and really easy to schedule with and get a quick response from. He is doing really great with teaching our daughter - keeping her focused during lessons despite her boundless energy, we can see that shes learning the techniques and materials, and most importantly - shes having fun and enjoying it! I would highly recommend working with Mikkel.
