I understand that no two clients or homes are the same and so I take the time to get to know my clients and understand their “vision” before I start a project. I treat every project, from just color selection and coordination to full home renovations, with the same expertise and enthusiasm. Working with Bonnie has been amazing! This was my first time ever hiring an interior designer and I am so glad I found her. Bonnie listened to exactly what I was looking for and what my price range preferences were and created a beautiful plan incorporating everything. She created visual plans so I could see what her ideas were, which was so helpful to me. Bonnie went above and beyond to then make that plan come to life. I am so happy with the results of my living room. It feels like it's out of a magazine but also feels like my style and my home's style. I had the extreme pleasure of working with Bonnie who completely transformed my living space. From the moment I met her I knew I was in good hands. One of the first tasks she tackled was updating my main bath. She provide options and recommendations that made the design process so much easier than making selections on my own. Next she recommended the perfect paint colors for each room. With their expert eye for color coordination, she effortlessly selected shades that perfectly complemented my existing furniture and decor. The result is a cohesive and inviting atmosphere that I couldn't have achieved on my own. Lastly, she focused on lighting, and let me tell you, it made all the difference. She carefully selected fixtures that not only provided adequate illumination, but also added a touch of style and elegance to each room. The ambiance created by their lighting choices truly transformed the space into something extraordinary. I am eternally grateful for her help and expertise!

When I decided to remodel my home, a main consideration was whether to work with an interior designer or not. The main reason was the budget. I have worked with an interior designer in the past and was familiar with the process. The key for me was to find someone that would understand the vision and concept of our plans and have the ability to integrate these plans with their professional expertise and resources. After researching and interviewing various interior designers and I finally found Bonnie @ Arranged by Design. I liked Bonnie because she listened carefully and understood what we were trying to accomplish while being and personable and genuine. She was sensitive to our needs and was able to translate our ideas and budget into a realistic plan. The saying “you don’t know what you don’t know” describes what a person begins to realize when encountering the extent and complexity of an interior decorating project performed correctly. Murphy’s Law figures greatly in these situations also. I realized that having a person I could trust and depend on was key to the overall success. After lengthy discussions with Bonnie regarding everything involved in the project, I realized that Arranged by Design was the one for me. Bonnie has excellent taste and resources. She knows where to find the right products and materials. She led me in new and different directions that provided beautiful solutions. The skilled workers and subcontractors she works with are first rate and artists at their craft. They are a pleasure to work with. Bonnie takes great care to select only the best. She has great rapport with them and they are very responsive to her. When issues and questions come up, as they always will in a job like this, Bonnie is very accessible and addresses them quickly and effectively. She becomes your ally, always checking with you to make sure you are happy and satisfied with the progress and the product as well as staying within budget. Anyone that has embarked on similar projects with contractors can attest to the need for a qualified professional when things don’t go as expected or proposed. As a business, Arranged by Design is well organized and runs very efficiently. Overall we are extremely pleased with the service and expertise provided by Arranged by Design. I would recommend Bonnie without the slightest hesitation. The house was totally transformed into a beautiful space, taking on the look of something 2-3 times the actual cost. The craftsmanship along with Bonnie's choice of design, materials and color schemes are outstanding. The floor design and layout was also transformational giving the home a completely new and refreshing look. Bonnie is a truly gifted interior designer who has helped me realize my aspirations and has exceeded all of my expectations while at the same time helping me stay on budget. I truly could not have accomplished this without Bonnie's help. So in retrospect, I view the hiring of an interior designer such as Arranged by Design, an investment rather than an additional cost.

Working with Bonnie from Arranged by Design has been a fantastic experience. I have never worked with an interior designer before and I wasn't sure what to expect. Bonnie did an excellent job of explaining how she approaches a project and how she would work to merge my tastes and interests into the overall project vision. Bonnie's experience and professionalism really made it easy for me to share my ideas in a way that she could use to shape the project. I was amazed when I saw the initial design plans. Everything we talked about had been incorporated into the design. The drawings looked terrific and I really felt I was part of the process. We have already started talking about the next phase. I highly recommend Arranged by Design.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I have a two hour minimum for consultations, which can then be applied towards hours if the project will be ongoing. I also work on a flat fee, depending on the project. I accept cash or check only.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I meet with the client, view the spaces and talk with them about how they want their space to "feel" and function. After that I form a "plan of action" and go from there. My job is to present two or three options for each need and to show how they would work.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Always looking at new products and new ideas. I spent many years on high end showroom floors before starting my own business.
