- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I grew up with dogs and puppies, had my own horse, and volunteered from 12 years old to age 15 at the animal Humane Society in Golden Valley where I learned many things about animals including teaching obedience classes, helping deliver litters and assisting with euthanasia. I've worked with Homework Bound Rescue and I worked over 2 years at the local animal hospital. In all of these I've worked closely with the public as well as animals. I lived on a farm where we raised chickens and pigs and I ran it by myself for over a year. I'm trained in Animal Massage and I started pet sitting in 1999, building a clientele by word of mouth and I've had a successful business going for 23 years in the metro area now serving many happy and satisfied clients.
