- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes, I attend at least 6 conferences or gatherings of henna artists per year, where we refine our art, share best practices, and test henna powders and essential oils. In addition, I preview work of top henna artists all over the world daily, and practice hours every week to be top notch at what I do.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I take part in wedding celebrations, doing mehndi for the bride and her special ladies, as well as for guests at the Night of Mehndi. I bring henna to parties and events of all kinds, big and small. I decorate the belly, hands, and/or feet of the expectant Mom and her support network at very special baby showers.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Make sure the artist uses only 100% natural ingredients, and it's best if they mix their own paste. Avoid any artist who can't tell you what exactly is in their paste, or who uses "black henna" as it is very unsafe!
