I can’t say enough good things about KALA, Giorgi, and his team. I hired him to do some major repairs on my front screened porch, including replacing floor boards, screen frames and screens, door, and hand railings. KALA did a wonderful job. They use high quality materials and work hard. Giorgi responded to my request right away and came over the next day to give me a bid, which was quite reasonable. Once work began, it did not stop until the job was finished (about 6 days). Giorgi’s assistant worked from morning to night in cold weather and does beautiful work. They are pleasant and friendly and answer questions. Communication is great. I plan to hire them again.

PROJECT: Rehab of the front porch on our 120-year old Victorian house. Having KALA do our porch project was a great experience. Over 24 years I have had many contractors work on our house, and I was very impressed by KALA. They were very solicitous of what I wanted and did an excellent job at a very reasonable price. ONE EXAMPLE: One part of the project was the railings. I had figured out two ways to do them, one I’ll call Plan A, which my wife and I really liked. But I could see technical difficulties with Plan A, so I also came up with a Plan B, which we really did not like the looks of. A week before Giorgi from KALA came to look at my porch, another contractor told me that Plan A would not work. He said it would have to be Plan B. So we resigned ourselves Plan B. When Giorgi came I told him to do Plan B. I didn’t even mention Plan A because the other contractor convinced me it was not feasible. Then Giorgi said, “But will you like the way that looks?” So we discussed it. Giorgi described Plan A and he told me he could do it that way. And Giorgi and his team did the railings in Plan A and the railings look great!
