FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Most bids require an in home consultation. My work is very customized as is the pricing. I am very competitive and offer the best value. There are cheaper guys, however it usually shows in the end product.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Most projects start with a phone conversation about the job. Some small standard jobs can be priced during the initial phone call, but most require an in home consultation. I come to your home and you show me what you would like, or we discuss options. In most cases I can give you a bid at the first consultation. In some cases we may need to pick out material or I may have to look up pricing and get the bid to you later that day or in a few days. Once we have agreed on the scope of the project and pricing I put it in writing and we sign a contract, collect a down payment and schedule an install date. I will give you an estimate of how long the project will take. (I take alot of pride in completing projects within the estimated time) Once the project is completed and you are satisfied with the work I collect the final payment.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Formally I have a degree in Cabinet Making I recieved out of high school, and an AS in Business Management that I recieved in 2009. The level of skills I have mostly came from almost 30 years of working in construction.
