Christine was incredible! She was kind and helpful and managed to get my hair to do exactly what I wanted!! The make up was also incredible and she helped out with some blemishes on my chest and shoulders when I asked. She also was flexible and helped move some things around when my original makeup and hair stylist could no longer make out wedding date. Incredibly responsive and all around a great choice!! Thank you Christine and team!!

Christine did an excellent makeup and bridal hair session for me. She listened to my needs and understood how to make me feel beautiful as a middle aged bride! I received many compliments and she came to my home and relieved my stress by providing a clean, and courteous comfortable session. I don’t know what I would have done without her!! Although our party greatly appreciated the work that was put into our makeup and hair, we all felt that the overall results of each of our hair and makeup weren't exactly what we had expected. We have never gotten our makeup and hair done professionally, so we honestly didn't know what to expect from the stylists/artists and to what degree their skill would be. It's not to say that their work was terrible; on the contrary, on its own, the work that was done was done well. It's just that the results didn't resemble what we wanted for ourselves, even with the inspirational photos provided. The stylists/artists didn't really ask much for our input along the way, and it gave me the impression that input might not be appreciated, so we kept our opinions to ourselves. I'm not sure if this is a common thing in the salon industry; again, we've never gotten anything done professionally, so we didn't know what to expect or what proper patron etiquette to follow. I'd like to believe that if one is to pay hundreds of dollars for work to be done professionally, it should be done the way the patron wants and that their input should be encouraged during the process so that the results are as close to their ideals as possible. Again, nothing against the team and their work, I just wish there had been more communication involved and encouraged. One main criticism we do have is that one of the girl's hair was not done properly at all. There was no layering to her curls, and the majority of her curls fell out within a couple hours of being done. Even the curls themselves looked almost sloppy, with a few good ringlets here and there. Our friend even informed the stylist that she had very stubbornly straight hair and that curls notoriously were hard to keep. The stylist assured her the curls should hold, but we don't think enough product was used to keep them in place, and/or the ringlets were too thick for them to be held for long (hence either layering or curling smaller sections of hair at a time would have probably achieved a better result). I only know this because I've personally curled her hair in layers and smaller sections and used a generous amount of product to keep her curls intact. Nothing fancy to the style I did, they were just regular curls; which is why we expected more from professional grade work. All in all I'd give our hair satisfactory rating a 3.5/5, and our makeup 4/5. Please encourage all your stylists to be more communicative.

I apologize that our team did not give you a proper consultation with realistic feedback in salon based on your individual features, skin tone/type and hair textures. When recreating an inspirational look it is important to acknowledge and consider the differences in each individuals features in order to deliver similar results. According to my artist, they did communicate in salon that any desired changes could be made.
