- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Do not just look at the price , epoxy and concrete coatings take proper prep of the concrete surface with either shot blasting , or abrading with a grinder and diamond tooling. Some may use a concrete etching solution, though this is not the best practice and care must be taken to neutralize the acid prior to applying the coating, this option also introduces water to the concrete which can cause adhesion issues. Ask the professional how they will prep the surface, what products they will use ( quality products are worth the slight additional cost. ), how will they patch cracks and pitting in the concrete, and what their guarantee is for their workmanship.
