John is a great teacher! He is prepared and organized for classes, and he teaches with lot of patient. He let me to take my time when I was trying to figure out how to play drum with my hands and my feet. Besides, John's encouragement helped me to build up great confidence as a first time drummer :)

John has helped me take my drumming to the next level. When I started lessons I was fairly new to the drum set and did not know how to read music. Over the past two years he has completely transformed me from a beginner to a gigging musician. John is patient, laid back and very knowledgeable and I would highly recommend him to drummers of all skill levels.

Prior to meeting John, I had never sat behind a drum set in my entire life. He got me going within 10 minutes of my arrival! He is a great teacher and is willing to tailor things based upon the student's prior musical experience and objectives. I am very pleased to have him as my teacher.
