DJ Malicious, whom I came to know personally as Mishereen, was a dream to work with for our wedding reception. She was easy to communicate with over the phone or email and responded promptly. She was super flexible and understanding as our plans for the reception came into focus, even as my emails to her came fast and furious as our wedding approached! She created the backdrop for an amazing party! We had guests of all ages packed on the dance floor for 3+ hours. As I made my way around to dance with different guests, almost everyone would shout in my ear how awesome our DJ was! I also had many guests tell me that they appreciated Mishereen playing the songs that they requested. Mishereen transitioned between every song so there was never a quiet moment. It created almost a club atmosphere--so fun! Mishereen helped my husband and I create a totally unforgettable first dance that our guests loved too--portions were slow and intimate and portions were total dance party. She was truly a pleasure to have at our wedding. I highly recommend her because she is easy to work with, flexible, has a magnetic personality at the party, amazing musical taste, and was just so fun. She felt like an important part of the celebration.

The DJ was good, but his song choice did not really fit the group. He had some good songs but a lot of it was rap, and then no one was dancing. I would have appreciated if he had asked for a playlist and then gone off of that. He could have added songs, but just made sure they were similar style.

DJ Melo was a fantastic MC and DJ for our wedding on 9.9. We threw some pretty interesting family traditions at him during the reception and he handled everything with grace and humor. Things moved smoothly throughout the night, and he had our guests dancing until the very end. So thankful we found Lens on Records to DJ our wedding! It was a positive experience from our first meeting with Mishereen all the way til last call at the bar. I would absolutely recommend LOR to future brides/grooms or anyone hosting an event needing MC and/or DJ services
