- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
A staging walk-through consultation (up to 2 hours) is charged at a flat rate of $200. If your home is vacant, a customized staging bid will be provided based on what we recommend for your homes’ size, scope, style, and location. Occupied staging is also a custom bid, sometimes hourly, sometimes flat fee, depending on home. Design work is charged hourly.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
For a vacant staging client, I love talking to or meeting in person if possible. I can also stop by a vacant home to view on my own. Then I can see the spaces to be staged and send a customized bid by email. However, I can develop the bid from photos of a previous listing or floor plans if needed. For design clients, I will meet you in person or talk via video chat to see your space, understand your wish list, budget and style and make sure we both agree working together is a good fit. Then the fun begins! I send thorough recommendations via email so you have everything in writing in one place. Images and links to products are included.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am certified through CSRA (Certified Staging and Redesign Academy) and a regional and national member of RESA (Real Estate Staging Association). I participate ongoing in local and regional meetings and webinars through RESA. Currently, I serve on the RESA Minneapolis board as the Treasurer.
