FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I got into the junk removal business in a pretty personal way. It all started when my family hired me to help clear out the belongings of a relative who had passed away. The task was emotionally and physically demanding, but it also sparked something in me. I’d already had some experience clearing out my own family’s cabin, so I understood the value of restoring a space by removing the clutter. After that, I realized there was a real need for this kind of work, and it felt like a natural fit to turn it into a business. What began as helping out loved ones has since evolved into a full-fledged service I’m proud to offer.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
In my junk removal business, I’ve had the privilege of working with a diverse range of customers—families, individuals, and everyone in between. From helping out relatives with cleanup after a loved one’s passing to assisting strangers who needed quick and efficient service, I’ve worked with people of all ages and backgrounds. Whether it’s a young couple clearing out their first apartment or an elderly homeowner downsizing, each job is unique and rewarding. I’ve learned a lot from the different needs and perspectives of my clients, and it’s always been a great experience making their spaces cleaner and more functional.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
Recently, I had the opportunity to work on a challenging but rewarding project for a local realty company. They hired me to clean out a three-bedroom, two-bath home on a spacious acre lot that had been left in a state of disarray. The house was extensively dirty, with years of accumulated trash and clutter in every room. The yard, too, was in dire need of attention—overgrown, disheveled, and littered with debris. I carefully tackled each room, removing the unwanted items and restoring a clean, fresh environment. Outside, I cleared away years of neglect, trimming the overgrown grass, removing weeds, and tidying up the space to reveal the potential of the large lot. The transformation was incredible, and by the end of the project, the home was not only clean and welcoming but ready to be showcased for sale. The realty company was thrilled with the results, and it felt great to help bring new life to a property in need.
