What more can I say? This has been the best money I ever spent! Karie is not only has an eye for style knows the trends but just a wonderful and fun person. I look forward to when Karie comes over. She’s is open to listening to what I like and then offering other suggestions. She’s totally OK if there is something I don’t like and she doesn’t take it personally. She knows and understands that I am very picky on how I spend my money on items. She has found some great things for me on Facebook marketplace which I wanted her to only look there and places like Wayfair etc. Love working with Karie!

Kari is a wonderful designer. She understood our needs and helped us change the look of our living room. She was very diligent and has an eye to pick really nice practical stuff. She is extremely responsive and a very cheerful person. Kari gave us plenty of options to choose from and discussed the pro and cons of each item be it as small as a side table to big furniture items. She has great ideas and will work with you to ensure the best one is implemented. Kari is amazing at visualization and gave us a good idea of what the new look would be like with pictures and graphics. She even took the time to shop for us and assist us in any possible way. We really enjoyed interacting with her.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My business model is slightly different from most designers as I charge a "flat fee" for a single room design or per space, not hourly as most designers do. This cost can certainly add up as the project length may go longer than expected.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I initially meet with the customer in their home/space and we discuss what is needed. I then will sketch and create a design for them that I believe will be functional and beautiful! Once the client has my design and space planning, they are welcome to shop for items on their own, but I would advise that they allow me to finish the project so that it reflects my total vision!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have 30 plus years of design experience working in residential homes.
