We have been using Chef Nicole Bernfeld’s services for about five months now. We are very happy with the meals she cooks using interesting and creative recipes or she will cook using one of our recipes. This has worked out very well for us due to a disability affecting one of our family members requiring a lot of caregiving which left far less time for cooking. This relationship solved a big problem for us and we plan to continue it for the foreseeable future.

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

I have the best prices for an independent personal chef in the Twin Cities area. My pricing includes all time required to prepare your menus each week, shop for ingredients, prepare your meals, and the clean-up after. The only additional fees come from groceries and any of my pantry items your dishes may require. I offer occasional discounts throughout the year as well, for personal chef services.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have an AAS degree in Culinary Arts from Hennepin Technical College - Brooklyn Park. I have almost 15 years of restaurant experience, and many more in home cooking experience. I have completed the Serv-Safe course for safe food practices.

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

Cooking and creating meals has always been something I've been interested in, from the time I was a pre-teen. Cooking makes me happy, and having people enjoy my food makes it even better.
