FAQs
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I mostly provide two types of magical entertainment for my clients. A stand up show and Close up/strolling magic. Close up magic is performed one on one and for small groups and is usually used for cocktail hours, wedding reception, and social hours. Close up magic is a very personalized form of magic using sleight of hand and small objects such as cards, coins, and dollar bills. Stand up magic is most often, but not always, performed as after dinner entertainment for holiday parties, awards banquets, and fund raisers. My show is full of laughs, audience participation, and of course mind boggling magic. Stand up requires more set up and a specific space to perform. My show is completely self contained.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
What many people don't know about magicians is that for every minute you see of a performance there were hours, days, or even years of practice. Since the skills (secrets) of a magician are usually hidden from the audience they remain unaware of the difficulty of performing flawless magic. As a magician it is our product (the magical moment) that we display all while hiding the craft.
