Beyond the dance floor... Dwight Davis has over two decades teaching Kung fu/Tai chi chuan and Chinese yoga (dynamic tension exercise), as well as over a decade in personal development. Dwight is an excellent dance instructor and has worked on and off with my daughter Samara for around two years now. She participates in multiple dance styles, including a competitive team. Dwight knows it all, and is always able to assist us in whatever we may need. I believe he is a natural born teacher, and he has really helped her to become noticeably more confident in herself and truly expand her skillset. He is great at understanding questions and concerns we may have and knowing how to address and fix any issues there may be, no matter what. Dwight has never ceased to amaze me, time and time again in how he goes about perfecting my daughter’s performance and mindset and I can't thank him enough. If you book lessons with him, you will not regret it, as he does not disappoint!

Dwight is a very, very experienced dancer and instructor, who gets you results and improvement in a short time (there are teachers who are great dancers but are not great at translating the information to every kind of student). He is able to masterfully help every level of student, from beginner to the most very advanced dancers. He has the ability to quickly tap into your unique goals, addressing what your personal strengths and obstacles might be, including your learning style, your body’s anatomy, and your mind, He identifies your strengths which he uses to help you dance better and suggests accommodations in how to deal with and overcome your obstacles. I have been a student of Dwight’s for almost 2 years, he has a profound knowledge base in so many areas; anatomy, personal training and the human element, making you feel confident when you might not. He is a wonderful teacher for men, women, couples, being able to relate to the everyday dancer as well as the dancer who might have more advanced dance goals. He has helped both my husband and I dance together socially. He is a very masculine dancer who can relate to teaching dance to men. Dwight is never condescending, always respectful, encouraging where needed, and complimentary as you succeed. He sees the potential in his students and makes it his goal to help them achieve that potential. This is true even if your only goal is to dance socially or with your special someone. Most of all he is pleasant and a true professional.
