FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Because every return is different, it is hard to have a standardized pricing system. If your return is simple, the cost can be as low as $125 out the door. For more complex returns, my fee will reflect the amount of time I speculate the return will take. I do hold myself to a policy with regard to pricing: Once I've quoted a price, it will not go up. If it turns out the return was more complex than I speculated when I made the quote, that is on me. I will not raise my fee at the end or short change my work. I take pride in my work.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My goal is to make a new customer as comfortable as possible throughout the process to take the stress out of getting their taxes done. I literally make them feel at home, because they are in my home :)
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Licensed CPA as well as an MBA in accounting. 20 years experience as paid income tax preparer. Full time job as Finance Director for a municipal government entity.
