Introduction
Based in the Metro Detroit area, I've been playing guitar since the mid 1990's. Music is my biggest passion and has remained a constant throughout my entire life. Currently, I play lead electric in a local church band on a weekly basis and have been involved a few other bands in addition to that, most recently with a classic rock cover band. I have a wide range of musical influences such as progressive, rock, classic rock, jazz, classical, instrumental, pop, alternative, Christian, 80's and 90's metal, and rockabilly to name a few. If you're interested in guitar lessons, I would love to hear from you to see if I can be of help on your music/guitar journey.

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

My pricing is as follows: $30 for a 30 minute (1/2 hour) session $45 for a 45 minute (3/4 hour) session $60 for a 60 minute (1 full hour) session I prefer doing either a 30 or 60 minute session, but would make exceptions for a 45 minute session. I typically prefer to do 30 minute sessions with beginners, and 60 minutes with Intermediate to Advanced players, but am of course open to the needs and desires of the student.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

A typical onboarding session would occur during the 1st session, and would be an orientation. This is the time when we get to know each other and ask any relevant questions. I use this time to discover the students current experience level, reasons for wanting to learn, short-term and long-term goals, preferred styles of music, and condition of equipment. I would then begin to formulate a customized plan for the student based around these insights, suggest any books/learning materials, and (if we both want to proceed), then we would decide on a good time for us to meet on a weekly basis.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
