I am an Interior Designer and specialize in residential interiors for active empty-nesters (like me)! Homes reflecting your new lifestyle + taste. Vibrant Midcentury meets Hollywood Glam style with your personality finally showcased. I am the principal designer and owner of Horizon Interior Design. I graduated from Oakland University in 1998 with a Master in Physical Therapy, and enjoyed a successful career as a therapist. I worked in orthopedics and home care, and found it interesting to see the environments in which my clients lived.
I grew a passion for interiors over the years, yearning to create comfortable and beautiful spaces. I received a degree from the Interior Design program at Baker College in 2016, started my own business and haven't looked back!

It has been a truly wonderful experience. Her creativity, intuitiveness and expertise stood out. She can hone in on color tints better than anyone. When the wall color or furniture pieces are installed they all blend beautifully. She not only redecorated my living room, but helped to update the surrounding areas with smaller pieces so it all blended. I plan on doing more with Kori and her team in the near future. Getting on board with Horizon Interior's was one of my better decisions.

I havent worked with an interior designer before. I knew I wanted a change but I didnt know anything else. I went on Next Door and they had the highest number of positive reviews. I interviewed a few but they stood out, really easy to talk with. I asked for help in making it my own place and I hoped people would like it. They helped me accomplish both, and I highly recommend them. Im very happy with the process and the results.

Kori and her team are amazing! I needed an upgrade of my kitchen and family room, not a full remodel. I had a limited budget. Kori respected my requests and created two beautiful spaces with quality products and work. I highly recommend her!

I have known Kori personally and professionally for several years. I recently hired her to design the renovation of our master bathroom. She listened to my vision and went to work selecting the perfect tile combination. Her help with the paint selection was invaluable, She has a wonderful eye for design and attention to detail.
