FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I do give discounts but please realize the time at the actual shoot is about 1/4 or less of the time I devote to you. I scout the location, do shot lists, I edit each shot so that it is perfectly cropped, perfect color balance and give you as many variations as I can. I print test prints to be sure all is spot on and copy all onto a thumb drive for you. Any prints that are good I include as a bonus.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Once I am confirmed to do the job I try to meet them before the shoot to find out what they have in mind and to give my ideas. That way we have a set plan before the shoot. If it is a location shoot, I try to scout my location so I know where the sun is going to be, backgrounds, get creative ideas and try to spot any potential issues. I draw up a shot list so I don’t leave it all to memory while I am in the middle of a live shoot.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Professionally trained in film makeup, trained in cinematography and photography. Have over 20 years of experience in the field.
