I'm so happy that we booked Shea to be our wedding photographer. I'm only allowed to choose 3/5 of the 'items' on Thumbtack so I chose responsiveness, professionalism and work quality. I would have chosen all five (+ value and punctuality) if it was available to do so. She was so easy to work with and very accommodating. I loved her style after checking out her portfolio and knew that she would be able to capture our essence/vibes. Shea was very communicative throughout the whole process and was so sweet and fun. When we met her for our engagement shoot, it only solidified the excitement we felt to have her capture our big day. We requested to have a second photographer for our wedding and Shea was more than willing to accommodate that. I especially need to give her kudos for capturing the moments that she did and can't wait to get the whole wedding portfolio. We didn't have a large list of 'wanted poses/photos' besides family photos after the ceremony and Shea worked her magic at our engagement shoot and during the whole wedding day. I was able to mention some photos/poses I liked from her instagram (follow her to watch her journey and get inspo) but we didn't give her much direction besides that (so sorry Shea!!). I couldn't be happier with the photos that we've received so far. If you're trying to decide who to book or are between a few options - I would HIGHLY recommend working with Shea/Moonbeam Media Co.

We hired Moonbeam for a 2-hour birthday party. Shea was responsive, professional, and punctual. The final gallery was shared about ten days after our event and the photos are high quality. I would have liked a bit more filter editing in the finals, as our venue overhead lighting was bright and harsh. We can see every facial detail in the photos 🙂. However we hadn’t discussed this and I’m not sure it’s a standard practice for professional photographers anyway. I would recommend Shea, and just align with her on any goals for the final photo set if needed!
