Literally the worst home improvement company in Kalamazoo. They did very shoddy work and my brand new bathroom after just a few months looks years old. I currently, right this minute, am sitting on my couch as Dan Wood Plumbing company is tearing apart my kitchen ceiling (something Charlie Tyler said he would do after it was leaking so bad it was raining in my kitchen, but surprise they half assed that repair by just painting my ceiling) and walls to repair tons of serious water damage and replace corroded pipes that should've been taken care of THE FIRST TIME.The people who remodeled my bathroom were two guys named Justin. Do NOT let these people in your home. They literally seemed like they were learning while they were working and everything was completely half assed. Also beware because the majority of reviews appear to be from family members just giving five stars to make them seem legit.EDIT 3/29/18 - the owner, Charlie, is a good person and owned the situation. He did send in a new crew to do one last fix for me to fix all the crooked tiles and bad paint job and missing caulk. He also covered the cost of the pipe repair that I had to pay for. The experience still wasnt worth it so I still would recommend another company but I do want to say that Charlie did take charge and owned the mistakes.

God bless these guys, I'm glad I choose Gabe with Tyler Home Improvements to do my project; over all the other guys. After they started my roof they found some rotted wood around the bottom of my roof, I am on a fixed income and I offered to pay them a monthly payment to fix it and fix it right. The owner Charlie stepped in and waved all additional fees for fixing the rotted wood and wouldn't take no for an answer. Instead all he asked for was a hand shake and a referral. He's a great guy, outside of that part, they did a great job on my roof and if anyone would like to drive by and check it out I'll be glad to walk you around. Gill and his sons' are great; I met over 10 of Charlie's crew members throughout this project and I would recommend them to anyone. I pray business is well for these men, they sure deserve it. God bless.

This summer, we had our roof, soffits, fascia, gutters, and windows replaced by Tyler Home Improvements. This was the best decision we've made in a long time. Charlie Tyler is knowledgeable, honest, and easy to talk with. David and his roofing crew worked hard and fast on some of the hottest days of this summer. Gary and his team did excellent work replacing our windows. Our new seamless gutters are state of the art.The inside edge of the gutters is tucked under a lip of the fascia that hangs down from the edge of the shingles. This means it's impossible for rain to ever come between the gutter and the fascia. These are truly no drip gutters. Our older house presented many challenges and needs for extra materials that I think other contractors would have charged heavily for. Charlie and his crews met these challenges and still stayed within his original bid.I won't say I'm looking forward to winter, but thanks to Tyler Home Improvements, I'm looking forward to fewer headaches and lower heating bills.
