My umbrella might be Food & Wholistic Health Expert, but in reality, I’m a "Soup-to-Nuts” food, nutrition & health professional in one. I’m ALL about good food and nourishment, with a long track record of cooking, catering, being a private chef. I'm seasoned, and enjoy counseling and teaching about how to eat healthier and find your ideal eating style. And then help you learn how to create healthy food that's delicious and satisfying without spending all day in the kitchen. Need gluten-free, vegetarian, paleo, weight loss, another special diet, international cooking styles or just plain delicious food that's healthier? Tell me what you're looking for and I’ll make it happen for you, whether you could use a personalized nutrition or wholistic health consultant, coach, cooking teacher, chef, caterer, healthy food demonstrator, recipe creator, food editor or kitchen makeover artist. My hourly base rate is $75. For cooking classes, a 3-hour session is ideal for getting the most value out of our time together. With food/nutrition consults I normally start out with a 'whole person' assessment (normally about 1.5 hours) that helps us get to the root of issues and saves time in the long run. I help clients get to the root of issues and improve their eating and nutrition so they can see results quickly, easily, naturally, economically. And we have fun doing it. Whether they could use some of my handy, time/energy/money-saving shortcuts or help solving a stubborn, long standing health or kitchen problem. I wanted to say hello and let you know that both my brother-in-law and I have read your book now. I loved it all: the writing style and the recipes and the information. He was impressed with the information (which says a lot since he's a chef who has been working in the health food field for some time now, and experimenting himself with cultured foods). And I wanted to tell you again how much I enjoyed the food you prepared for us at Mark's B&B this summer. What a feast, at every meal. Truly inspirational. I've been doing more cooking myself as a result, but I'm not approaching the complexity and deep flavors of your meals quite yet. It was great getting to know you and sampling your cooking! Nancy offers a wealth of wonderfully useful information about improving our relationship with food. I am an event planner, cater, and have a small food business, I have worked with Nancy Lee in a professional capacity in various events. Her knowledge of food and nutrition extends from advanced culinary concepts, to the simple side dish and they are never mundane. She is very easy to work with and for. She can cook, she can teach, work side by side and she can create a savory dish from food scraps if she had to. I find her delightful and her food inspiring.
