- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Sum Bridges Construction is aware of these challenging economic times and strives to be fair and thoughtful when pricing all of our projects. We are open about our pricing and deliver clear and detailed proposals which include materials and labor required to achieve a scope of work. If a project changes due to unforeseen conditions or a customer change of mind, we issue change orders which clearly define any pricing alterations that are required for the project. We offer a military discount, just ask.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We are responsive to our customer's needs and try to make a connection with our potential customer the same day we get a lead. With basic perimeters for the project from this first intake, we can sometimes generate a proposal for a quick maintenance project, or we schedule an at home appointment with our estimator to inspect the site, take measurements and plan the project. With this information we develop a scope of work, gather necessary selections and materials lists and develop pricing and issue a proposal for the project. Once the proposal is approved and the project deposit is received, we schedule your project for production. We generally are able to schedule a project within 10 days from initial contact.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Sum Bridges holds a Michigan issued Residential Builder's License. Additionally, we also are licensed for HVAC installation (Michigan License # 7110209). We hire only field technicians with experience and training in various trade disciplines which enable us to offer our services to a wide variety of customer needs from very simple maintenance to complex additions and remodeling work.
