I had the pleasure of working with Mohawk Fencing earlier this summer. In a very short window of time, they assessed the space I needed fenced (which included removing a wire fence), quoted me an amazing estimate, and had everything finished in no time at all. Hired Mohawk in August 2023 to install approx 150 ft wooden privacy fence in my backyard with 9ft wide wooden gate across driveway. Workmanship on fence is adequate. However, workmanship on gate is subpar. One problem with gate is that an improper lock was installed. There is no way to open the gate from inside the backyard. Thus, if the gate is locked, the only way to exit the back yard is to go inside the house or to climb over the 6ft high gate. Reported this problem to Mohawk owner. He came out a couple of weeks after job was finished and dropped off a new lock assembly, but has yet to return and install the proper lock on the gate. Additionally, some construction debris (i.e. bag of cement and some lumber) were left behind in my yard. Overall, disappointed with this contractor, particularly in light of the cost of this project. UPDATE: On 3/16/24, Mohawk owner installed proper lock assembly on driveway gate. Thus, I have upgraded my rating to reflect that the gate now functions as intended.
