Amy Keller was an absolute dream to work with. Very knowledgeable and her insight was completely on point. Her communication is very clear, consise and timely. The consumate professional. We are completely transforming our Century old farmhouse and she was able to create a functional and updated space within the walls of our home, decreasing the overall cost to us substantially. My wife and I own a row house in Washington DC, and Amy provided us with designs that made excellent use of our limited space, and also gave us a wonderful layout that is distinct from the standard footprints used by other similar row houses that have been recently renovated in our neighborhood. Amy was great to work with; she discussed our vision with us prior to starting designs and provided us with multiple draft designs for both our master suite and kitchen projects, and based on our feedback made adjustments to create a design that we are very happy with. As we near completion of construction on both projects, we could not be happier with the architectural designs that Amy provided for us. Her designs were easily interpreted and followed by both Ikea kitchen designers and our construction contactors.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My typical project will be $120/hr for the design phases and a flat fee based on the final scope for the final documentation for construction and permitting.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to first do a meet and greet at my client's residence, place of business, or plot of land they are planning to build upon. After that meeting I put together a detailed proposal outlining the design and/or drafting process. The process typically involves 4 stages: Schematic Design, Design Development, Construction Documentation, and Permit Documentation/Submittal.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Kent State University, Kent, OH Bachelor of Architecture, December 1998 B.S. in Architecture, May 1997 I have worked in the residential and commercial sectors of Architecture for over 20 years.
