Introduction

Our studio is located in Waterford and Northville, Michigan. The core of MP Fashion's philosophy is timeless style and versatile design; the goal is to create quality pieces that are sophisticated, yet functional and comfortable. Mila has MA in Fashion Design and Merchandising, and BS in Linguistic (teaching). She has done everything from apparel design and production with Diane von Furstenberg to model casting and styling for New York Fashion Week, and more. "I've always loved fashion and clothes. It's a part of who I am. Life is a style of evolution. I can show you how I utilize my appreciation of style gurus, taking cues from how they wear their clothes and adapting what is truly original into a strategy for the way I shop for others"-Mila said. Trends come and go, but real style is timeless.

Mila is wonderful to work with. She was very thorough and engaging with my teenage son, introducing him to sewing. She has been very responsive and helpful in advising us on a machine. Her class options are very flexible. I recommend working with her if you are a beginner or more advanced in your sewing skills.

Mila was great. We had a product we needed to alter that was not a typical garment. She taught us how to use our machine and how to sew the product. She gave us tips and tricks for the project and was extremely helpful. I would highly recommend Mila if you need any lessons!

Mila was an absolute professional from start to finish. I had an idea for a dress for my sons' wedding and she brought that vision to life. I just showed Mila a picture of what I wanted and from that she made the pattern. And from that pattern she made a dress even more beautiful than I imagined. Perfectly executed and tailored to fit. Mila is extremely professional and one of the nicest people I've met. A true joy to work with. I highly highly recommend MP Fashion.
