- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I provide fair estimates that reflect the quality and craftsmanship of my work. I give an estimate and stick to that estimate unless the customer adds to the project or other unforeseen issues arise. I typically ask for a 40% deposit and the remained after the completion of the project.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I begin with a discussion about what the customer’s vision is. I then do an in-home inspection and provide the customer with an estimate. If the customer approves the estimate, I then give them a time frame of when construction will begin and collect a deposit.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was trained on the job and continue to learn. I was recently trained in Schluter Shower Systems which provide products that together form a fully bonded, watertight assembly for tiled showers and eliminates the risk of failures due to water and vapor penetration and dramatically reduces total installation time.
