Introduction
I was a college art major and have that fine art background in addition to the carving seminars I have completed. Therefore my work is typically more detailed and finely painted. This is a passion for me. I"ve worked hard all my life and this is what I love to do. The creative process and seeing the completed work and the reaction it creates in people is always a thrill.

Mark is a true artist - he see's the finished image in a raw piece of wood in a way that is remarkable. When we lost a maple tree at our lakeside home, Mark recommended that we leave a stump about 6 feet tall. From that nondescript piece of useless wood, he created the most magnicifient sandhill crane! Since we have sandhill cranes here in abundance, it is a testimony to his work that visitors will point to the carving by the lake and say "oooooo, there's one right there!" We are both proud and satisfied to be the owner of one of his pieces of work! One of a kind and profoundly realistic! Steve and Kathie Ward - Hillsdale, Michigan

Mark chain saw carved a 4 foot bear for my 50th. It was awesome. The detail in the face, paws, and fur was amazing. I have it displayed in my cabin up north.I would recommend Mark to anyone!

This work is unbelievable. There is so much expression in each of his carvings that you do not see them here in these pictures. Give this guy a picture and he will make it come alive on wood. GREAT STUFF!
