We asked him to give us an estimate for installing a thermostat. After he came to our house checked the wiring and inspected the attic, which doesn’t even took 10 minutes. He then informed us that the installation would cost between $600 to $700 due to the need for rewiring. He charged us $60 for the in-home visit and assured us that the fee would be waived if we hired him. However, the app did not display any information about the fee being waived if we decided to go ahead with his services. We found this to be completely unreasonable. We then contacted another company, who completed the entire installation in just 10 minutes and charged us only $100 for the job. Therefore, we would not recommend this person's services.
