We engaged Justin Morelock of NXT Design to work with us on conceptual design ideas and drawings of three spaces in our school buildings. This was a challenging project because our school was foundations were laid over 100 years ago and has outstanding architectural elements of the period, yet we needed to bring the spaces into the 21st century to enhance our educational environment. Justin and his team created designs that respect the historical nature of our campus, are functional, efficient and breathes new life into spaces where students will learn, grow, and fulfill academic and personal goals! We charge an hourly rate or fixed fee based on the clients specific needs. We understand every project is different and deserves a tailored approach. After talking with the client to understand the project and define a scope of work, we will provide a proposal that outlines our process, deliverables, timelines and fee.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first step is to have an exploratory meeting with the client to discover their needs, desires, and objectives. Getting a full understanding of the client and their business is essential to the design process.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Industrial Design Bachelors degree, 6 years as a construction contractor and 8 years as a Professional Interior Designer.
