- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our initial assessment fee is between $150 and $200. If testing is recommended, pricing starts at $750, however, the initial assessment fee would be included and/or waived. Commercial building inspections start at $500 and home inspections begin at $250. Other services are determined per job and scope of work. All of our reports are processed by an accredited laboratory. We will make sure that we spend the time going through your results with you, so that you understand what these results mean and how you should proceed.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Through an initial phone conversation we can determine pricing for the home assessment or inspection. Arrive on time for the specified day of inspection. Perform the service in two to three hours depending on the size and scope of inspection or testing. Hand write a report on site or type a more detailed report if necessary for customer review. Collect the service fee. Followup contact to determine if it is recommended that the customer have testing done. Request an evaluation after testing and go over results to determine steps of possible remediation.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
NAMRI and IICRC certified training, with over 160 hours and 4 certifications for mold inspection and remediation training. I have also been certified in both lead and asbestos renovation/abatement with a combined 120+ hours of training. I am an IICRC certified water remediation technician. I had over 40 hours of classroom training as well as several years of field experience, including water losses in Florida after hurricane Michael.
