We are a boutique caterer & personal chef service. All of our chefs strive for perfection in the food we buy, to the way we present it. This site charges us professionals upwards of $75 just to send you a quote. This will be passed on to you, but you can avoid this by searching us on Google We keep adding new services to compliment our core service, which is cooking great food for clients who appreciate the finer things in life. Our latest service is offering a "Live Kitchen" at Weddings, Graduations, Corporate catering & larger events. We bring everything you would see in a restaurant kitchen, and cook in front of your guests. We always make bread from scratch, and we are only governed by your imagination. If you can think it, Chef Mike & his team will make it happen. I have had a very Privileged past. I've cooked for many Celebrities and even Royalty. The best part of my job is meeting a wide diverse selection of the general population. I love to see people's reactions to what I have created for them.

We hired Mike to cater for our wedding reception on 4/21/17. We picked him mainly based on reviews here. We thought how can we do wrong with someone who has received so many excellent reviews....and we found out that we were absolutely right and that the reviews were very accurate. The planning and service provided was very professional and with an obvious personal touch that puts you at ease immediately. Mike will work with you based on your budget and give you suggestions on what to prioritize spending money on and where to skimp out and that nobody will notice or care.... He was absolutely right on his suggestions. He has immense experience that he can give you great suggestions and execute what you wanted out of the evening in a flawless professional manner... above and beyond your expectations. The food received great reviews from our guests. To be honest, for the money we spent you can't get such diverse fare he put together for us from anyone else here in Michigan....at least that is what we found out from the couple of months of shopping around we did.... His staff were excellent and managed the bar and the buffet extremely well. The chef himself will come out, serve and talk to your guests in his chef outfit and in general help liven up the buffet experience and the party in general. I highly recommend Mike and his team.

I wanted someone to cook a week's worth of meals for my mom for her birthday. Michael was the only chef to respond to my request for a personal chef on Thumbtack. I called him but we found it easier to meet in person to discuss what type of foods she likes and which would freeze better. He met me at my house at a time that was convenient for me. I told him the price range I was planning on and he told me how many meals he could do for that price. He gave me ideas of meals and I said whether my mom would like it or not. He came up with some good ideas. He delivered the meals to me on the date that I picked. Mom said the food was excellent. He even included an extra meal. Would definitely hire him again. Professional and personable. Also followed up with me to see if my mom was satisfied. Thanks Michael!

I hired Chef Michael Jay for a surprise birthday dinner for my husband aboard our boat. I have had several catered events in my own personal home, but I have never hired a personal chef before, especially one to prepare dinner on my boat. I have to say that he honestly exceeded my expectations. On top of being extremely accommodating with working in a non traditional kitchen, he was professional, punctual, and was able to provide us with an amazing experience. The meal he prepared for us was outstanding. Everything was so fresh and flavorful...from the delicious appetizer, salad and entrée to the yummy dessert. He definitely impressed us with his culinary skills. My husband absolutely loved the experience, as did I. I would highly recommend hiring him, and will most definitely call upon him for future events.

Chef Chris was amazing. He cooked a magnificent meal for the 12 of my friends at a dinner party I was hosting. It was so nice to be able to sit back, relax, and just enjoy the company without worrying about if my guests are being taken care of. It was a pleasure!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I spent four years at College in London. I spent four years training at the same time and place as Gordon Ramsey. We both were put through our paces to see if we would hold up to the riggers of working in a five star Hotel, Restaurant, and extensive banqueting operation.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
First of all, Do not be scared to ask questions. A professional will take the time to better understand exactly what you are looking for. Ask if your chef will visit you to allow you and them feel at ease.
