I finally popped the question to my girlfriend of six years last Easter and decided to get married on July 7th of 2020. I got in contact with several different weddingOfficiants and most of them never bothered to call me back or respond to anything I had to say. I was starting to get frustrated when on a whim we found this website and ran across Debi's profile. We started with a message and she was super responsive and asked us how we would like our wedding to be. She asked us about customizing the vowels to our liking and everything. Things we didn't even think about, she was willing to make everything absolutely perfect for us. Setting a time was extraordinarily simple and she kept everyone in the loop whenever you had questions. She was perfect and she made our special day exactly how we wanted it. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I typically charge $240 for ceremonies in Sanford and fees go up from there depending on the location/distance, if a rehearsal is needed, and how large the wedding will be.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I will ask the date and time you are needing for your wedding, the location, if rings are being exchanged, if there are any special requests, if it will be inside or outside, and how many folks are expected to attend. From there we will proceed to taking a deposit and booking your special day!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am legally ordained through the Unity-New Thought Church and graduated from seminary with a certification in Celebrancy Practices in 2004. I have been officiating weddings since that time for couples from all walks of life: straight and same sex couples, Christians, Pagans, Atheists, Agnostics, etc.
