FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I like to bill a fixed fee whenever possible. I would get an idea of the work required, quote you a price, and do my best to stick by it. For consulting and other services where a fixed fee is not reasonable, my hourly rates are generally between $120 and $150.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to get to know who I am dealing with. If a business, a general idea of what you do, how the business is run, how you make money, etc. If an individual, just a general "what's going on in your life?" is all I'm after. Both of these will help me provide better service.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have over 9 years of relevant tax experience. A majority of that I did while working in two large regional CPA firms. I have and continue to work with a varied group of individuals and small businesses to provide the services they need. I received both my Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Accountancy from Bentley University located in Waltham, MA - recently ranked the #2 business school in the country according to USA Today.
