- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My rates are on line with the local and national average, but if you are struggling financially, I will work to help you by negotiating my rates. I do not charge for my first consultation or to haul away all donations I can fit in my vehicle. I'll charge less than most any of my competition's rates. Just ask.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Well each client is unique. So my process can change for each client. It begins with a free consultation. I come to you and we look at and talk about what you'd like to achieve by hiring a pro. During that time we will come up with a game plan. If you need clutter control, I help you go through your things and decide what you can let go. I help you figure out where it goes. I manage selling things and I take away donations. If organizational skills are whar you need, I work directly with you to learn your habits and styles of functioning to create organized systems that I teach you to maintain for life. If staging is your need, I help you locate, purchase, or repurpose pieces to set up beautiful spaces. If decorating is what you need, I do the same. I can manage your moves, help you upgrade or downsize. I can do all of this while working directly with you, or in the rare case where it's needed, I can do it on my own with your consultation.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have been.dping this work in some form or another since the very first time I was paid for working. As a babysitter in.my high school years I would organize while the children were sleeping.
