Introduction

In 2012, my niece asked me to perform her wedding. I really enjoyed the experience and have been hooked ever since. I am passionate about bringing warmth, magic and humor to the day. Whether you are having a small elopement or a full ceremony with 200 guests, I have the expertise to handle any situation. I love adding the personal touch of writing the story of your relationship based on a questionnaire I send to both of you individually. During our initial conversation, I will lay out a traditional wedding sequence and go over any extras that might interest you. I will listen to your vision and then craft the perfect script for your approval. If desired, I will be present at the rehearsal and guide everyone through their part in the ceremony. I will always be available for questions, information or advice.

We used Beth as our officiant at our wedding up in Maine. She was absolutely amazing!!! We found her on Thumbtack, emailed her and got an immediate response. She made sure to set up a phone call with us to ensure she would be a great match for us on our special day. After speaking with Beth we knew immediately that we wanted to hire her. Beth was so attentive with answering all of our questions, walking us through the whole process (as it was an out of state wedding for us) from beginning to end. Beth had us fill out questionnaires about each other that we were not to share with one another then wrote the most beautiful ceremony that was completely catered to us and our love story. Our friends and family could not believe that We have not known Beth for years are our ceremony script was so personalized, heartfelt and intimate. Beth was a 10 out of 10! We would highly recommend anyone looking for an amazing officiant to hire Beth and her services ASAP!!

Beth officiated our wedding May 18, 2024. She was extremely easy to connect with prior to the ceremony and took the time to explain everything in detail so there was no stress leading up to the day. Beth did an amazing job at the wedding, many of our family and friends spoke to how much they loved our ceremony! Me and Jeremy absolutely loved it as well. The personalized story that Beth wrote was so sweet, with just the right amount of humor to keep us engaged! She also spoke us through a potting ceremony with a plant and soil from both our childhood homes. This was a really special detail for us that we are so happy she added in! I would recommend Beth to all friends and family!

We were thrilled with our nontraditional day! We are so happy that we contacted Beth to officiate. I love that she has so many choices for readings, vows, and the ring exchange. Our goal was to have the ceremony at our home which required a bit of hiking to a favorite spot on our property. Beth was willing to make the trek and we are so grateful! Thank you, Beth!

FAQs

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer a variety of fees. $250 for a simple ceremony or elopement. $400 for a full ceremony including the personal story of your relationship. $500 for a full ceremony plus my attendance at the rehearsal. $25 if the ceremony is over 60 miles from Saco, Maine.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We will start with a conversation so that I may hear your vision and then describe what I can offer. I will write a contract and you send a $50 deposit. Next, I write the first draft of your script with choices for you to make. When I receive your answers, I'll write the final draft and submit it to you for your approval.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been performing weddings since 2012 and bring a lot of ideas, support and experience to our relationship.
