Introduction

We are currently booking exterior home painting projects for the summer. Typically we are limited to less than 20 projects for the summer months so we manage the schedule on a first come basis with deposits required. I am a professional, highly experienced, non-smoking and reliable resource for your home renovations, additions, repairs and improvements. I try to fully inform my clients prior to engagements, and I work to set clear expectations so that we will all be satisfied at the end of the project. I am a skilled problem solver. I understand buildings and know how to resolve almost any issue. If I run into something that I am not able to resolve, I will work to help you find the person or team that can better serve you.

Steve Hayes and his group at Kleen Sky have worked on 3 major projects for us — and smaller ones. We met him in 2019 when he gave quick, thoughtful, and knowledgable advice on a pending house purchase. Then in a short time his crew completed a thorough interior repainting and some repairs at the house. Another year, the team traveled to a distant location to do a complete exterior repainting and roof repair of a different house. In 2022, under a tight deadline, Kleen Sky constructed a lovely wooden platform and installed a hot tub. All excellent. A+ I would check all 5 boxes above but only 3 are allowed.

Working with Steve and his team was great! Every person involved was professional and friendly. The work was completed in a timely manner and I could always count on the team being there when they said they would be. As with any project, there were occasional slight hiccups with shipping delays and what not - these were always handled calmly and without fuss. The space turned out beautifully and there were no surprises on the budget side. Highly recommend.

The Kleensky Team lead by Steve Hayes is simply the best. Fair priced and the quality of the work is outstanding. Steve is actually a closet artist hidden in a contractors body and working with him in the idea phase brings out the best concepts possible. Very flexible to work with and always kept us informed of progress and potential issues. Kleensky and Steve actually turn out to be partners in the process and their work is faster than most contractors I have worked with or heard about. You will NOT be disappointed with Kleensky and Steve Hayes!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I typically charge between $40 - $60 per hour depending on the work being completed.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I prefer to see the project and talk through the options with the client. through this process we discover a best solution and I generate a proposal from that discussion and agreement.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I spent my career as an executive in various companies in addition to being an artist and handyman. I have a two masters degrees, which don't count in the handyman world, but I am proud of attaining both of them. I bought my first house when I was 22 years old and couldn't afford to hire folks, so I started my lumber education while fixing up that first home. Since then I have renovated multiple homes, built homes and helped friends design and build their dream homes. I love doing the work and I offer over 30 years of experience in the home services business.
