- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our price is $100.00 per hour with a two hour minimum. We also have a $75.00 Truck fee. Some jobs may require a one-time nominal Base Move fee. Instant Booking require a $75.00 security deposit to hold your reservation. If you prefer a flat rate, our pros can provide you an estimate (Out-The-Door-Pricing) for same day advance bookings. Note: Flat Rate estimates are subject to change when customers job specs are beyond original scope. Additional premium pay will be required for packing services, moving supplies or additional hourly labor.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our process includes 1) a call from dispatch with an introduction, 2) review with the customer their needs/services, 3) confirm date of service, 4) confirm pricing, Nu Dominion sends an estimate, 5) Lead Helper/Crew Chief contacts customer with an introduction 24-48 hours prior to service, 6) upon completion, customers can submit payment via Thumbtack app/Zelle, or Pay Pal.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Nu Dominion Moving & Storage is a DOT & OSHA Licensed moving company with over 15 plus years in Commercial and Residential services. We have Commercial Drivers (Class A) operating our vehicles. We are skilled in not only distance, but judgement and eye-hand-coordination. Our helpers have the ability to lift up to and over 100 plus pounds. Our team is highly skilled in organizing/packing any size moving vehicles for optimal time and effective use.
