Hi there! My name is Brian, and I am a dog trainer with over 3 years of hands-on experience working with dogs of all different sizes, breed and temperaments. I use a variety of training techniques that will help you teach your dog the basics: sit, down, stay, place, heel, recall and walking on and off leash. I also work on unwanted behavior modification and aggressive/reactive dogs. I offer private lessons, pick up-drop off and board-and-train services. Brian was exceptional as explaining his process and method. He demonstrated what we should expect with his own dogs. Now when we take our pup to the store, we get comments non stop of how we'll behaved he is.

Our Layla girl has had issues with people she doesn’t know but acts out on the aggressive side. Pawper training helped her in her healing from this and her energy has been amazing once we picked her up and she was so much more like her happier self but all around! I highly recommend these guys they definitely know how to treat your fur family members with warmth, love and care. Thank you!

I made a deposit to arrange for service. I notified the following day I needed to cancel and reschedule due to a family emergency. He refused to return my deposit and claimed it is non refundable despite that not being mentioned anywhere in writing on his website, which I’ve screenshot every page of, nor on his profile. I now have to file a dispute with my bank because he wants to cling on to $100. This unethical practice says a lot about them as person and consider whether you trust them alone with your pet. Update: Brian Ganzler appears to be under the erroneous belief that contracts operate by unspoken assumptions. “This is common practice” is not a contract, it is not a legal written policy that informs the consumer prior to exchanges. Two weeks later and he has continued to illegally withhold money that he took by unethical means. This is theft. I’ve since reported Pawper Training to the FTC for fraud, filed a complaint with the BBB, currently in contact with Square and Thumbtack, filed fraud with my bank and am now filing a small claims suit for maximum damages. I hope my experiences can help you decide about whether to proceed with this person, whether you trust them with several thousands of dollars when they do this with only $100 and if you trust your dog with a thief.

Unfortunately, our policies have not changed. a Once a deposit is made, it is used to reserve a spot for your dog, and we book accordingly. I have spoken with Thumbtack support, and they have found no wrongdoing with our policies. They did inform me they were willing to cover the cost of $100, I suggest you reach out to them if it is still an option.

Brian and his team were responsive and knowledgeable when I boarded my anxious dog with them for a week. Not only were they able to get him to eat a little (normally he won’t eat at all when boarded), but my dog settled back into his normal routine when we got home. Normally after boarding my dog will not let us out of his sight for at least a week. I recommend Pawper training and would use them again gladly.

I perform an evaluation to understand both your dog's and your needs. During the evaluation I keep track of unwanted behavior, ideal goals for obedience, your dog's interaction with strangers and other dogs. After the evaluation we go over training options and methods.
