- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing determines whether or not I have a tip jar, if I need to provide a portable bar with soda-garnishes-cups-etc., how many people are attending, what is being served (beer, wine, liquor), and how far I need to travel.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I do a lot of research on drinks. I plan on attending a bar tending school, just to gain more knowledge and possibly flare.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was working as a server, yet went to the bars a lot (I was 21) and decided I wanted to tend bar. I simply asked my manager to put me on the bar and he said I definitely have the personality for it - OK! I've perfected drinks and kept it rolling.
