I am the head photographer at GC Photographers and we specialize in bringing your dreams to life in a photojournalistic way that tells a story that captures the moments, and leaves a lasting impression. GCPhotographers is an insured business based in New York City, Maryland, and Northern Virginia but also serves the borders far beyond. The reason I gravitate towards wedding photography is that I love to support others. I enjoy celebrating others joy and what better way to be in a support role than to help someone celebrate one of the most special moments of their lives. Please be aware that I may charge a travel fee if their area is not that really favorable to me compensation wise. For example: If I covering a 4 hour wedding within 40 miles travel of 20902, the cost will increase based on travel outside of this area but this is negotiable so let's talk. I am looking forward to meeting you 🙂. Side Note: If you would like to shoot in Washington DC around the Parks and Historical Areas, please make note that i is not free to shoot in these areas. The minimum location per day is $50 (1-10 persons) with $90 application fee that needs at least two weeks to be approved. For all government related events, I understand the secrecy when it comes to having footage not go public. I have an active secret clearance and we can negotiate everything in our discussion and contract.

We could not be more impressed by Chris. From the day that we contracted CGPhotographers services for our beach wedding (Cape Lookout), he made us confident that we made the right decision. Chris was so great to work with! We met multiple times in advance of our big day to go over plans and they went together flawlessly that evening. Even though sunlight was much less than expected, he was prepared with substantial lighting to make it all come together. The photos were spectacular and he even sent an awesome Engraved USB card for us! Thanks, Chris we'll always looks back how fun it was to work with you 😀

We had a fantastic experience working with Chris at my daughter's October 1st wedding. There was excellent communication while planning, and he arrived the day of an hour and a half early to scout the venue. He was professional, patient and so positive! He was very accommodating and had great ideas. Based on the previews we have seen, we are so excited to receive the final product! Can't recommend Chris enough!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Everything is negotiable. Take a look at the package prices on my site verses here. Packages can be tailored. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Outline their needs while making sure they are confident in knowing that they will receive the best service. I love what I do and you will be another to see it as I celebrate with you.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I went to school many years ago for photography to make sure that I was on the right track with what I was enjoying. I mainly went to learn about photography terminology. Besides that, I have lots of magazines subscriptions and study many techniques from all over the world. Outside of this, I am working on completing my MBA.
