FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is based on the type of events and services requested. My fees vary depending on how much equipment is needed and the hours required to do the event. I am willing to work with customers regarding pricing sometimes. I do give discounts for certain types of events such as fundraisers or causes. As a full time professional DJ I go above and beyond to proved the best services possible. I invest in the best equipment. I put lots of time into my music library. I pay attention to all details and stay the course of what my clients ask for. I take my job serious and conduct myself professionally.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I always ask what type of event the customer is looking to do. Once I am booked I request a site visit and consultation with the customer. I ask them what is their vision and for a playlist of certain songs they would like played. I like to build a relationship with person who hires me so that we can be on the same page regarding the event. The day of the event I like to be about 2 hours early to set up and be prepared. This give me time to professionally work with everyone involved and trouble shoot any potential problems. Once the event is started I like to make sure that everything is going great.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a certified event coordinator via The George Washington University Event & Tourism Program. As a professional event producer and promoter I have been doing event production for over 25 years. So I not only know how to DJ, but how events are supposed to be run from start to finish. I've done all types of events all over the country. I've even worked a event in the White House. I have worked in audio and sound production for events as well. I have learned and studied from DJ's that have been in the business for over 30 plus years. Some have taught me skills that I never would have known on my own most likely. And constantly train myself to keep up to date one technology advancements in the DJ field.
