Jordan was phenomenal! I hired him to service my units after a large company (W.L. Staten Plumbing and Heating) came the previous day to install a water sensor in my attic unit, to result in a heavy smoky smell through my vents. That tech did not know what he was doing. A 20 minute install took over an hour and a half, to result in a smoky smell afterwards. I had him remove the sensor and return my system the way it was. Problem is, it was not returned the way it was. I woke up the next morning feeling dizzy and knew I had to get someone in here ASAP.
I hired Jordan to give me a complete diagnostic and maintenance of both of my furnaces and to ensure all of the wiring was where it should be, install the EZtrap on my upstairs unit, check the work the other tech did on both units, and replace two thermostats with Nest thermostats.
Jordan was amazing!! Jordan diagnosed the reason for the smoky smell. Jordan advised that “Per manufacture specs, single stage furnaces are not designed for the blower to be on high speed. The blower was jumped to the high speed tap. So regardless if the unit was in AC or Heat mode, the blower was going full power all the time.”
Long story short, the other tech changed the setting of my blower to the highest setting which was causing the smoky smell.
Jordan did an amazing job cleaning my units and explaining all of the numbers that relate to the health and status of my units. He even did CO2 tests to ensure no carbon monoxide was getting in. After changing the setting of the blower speed back to where it was before the other technician came out, the smoky smell was resolved!
I was highly impressed with his knowledge and thoroughness. The other company was a large company and never went into the type of detail that Jordan went into.
I had my doubts about Jordan initially because he is a small company. However, after my experience with a large company, I’ve come to realize you can’t judge a company by how many employees they have. It’s all in their competence and expertise, and Jordan exhibited all of that! The smoky smell is gone, and life is good! I can breathe easily and we love our Nest thermostats! Thank you Jordan! I will definitely hire you again!

Jordan is simply the best! I contacted him through Thumbtack around 1:00 am when the thermostat on my heat pump started working only intermittently. Not fun in freezing cold weather. We spoke in the morning and he was hear by 1:00 pm. Jordan fixed The thermostat checked and fixed the thermostat very quickly so I also had him do a long overdue maintenance. Jordan is a total professional and will be doing my seasonal HVAC servicing from here on.

From the outset Jordan was quick enough to respond to my request and to let me know about his availability. He installed my new nest thermostat pretty quick and did a maintenance of my furnace and also did a walkthrough to check if all the vents were working properly.
