- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
At AU Customs, we believe in transparency and fairness when it comes to pricing. Our rates are based on the scope of the project, with clear payment structures in place. Here's what you can expect: Upfront Deposits: For jobs under $3,000, we require a 50% deposit upfront. For projects over $3,000, we ask for a 30-40% deposit, depending on the job size. Payment Milestones: For larger projects, progress payments will be scheduled based on key milestones, with the final balance due upon completion. No Hidden Fees: We strive to provide an accurate estimate upfront. Any additional costs will be communicated and agreed upon before work begins. Discounts: We occasionally offer special promotions or discounts. Feel free to inquire about any available deals when you reach out. We aim to ensure that our pricing is fair and competitive, and we're always open to discussing payment plans or other options that work for your budget.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
At AU Customs, we strive to make the process as smooth and efficient as possible. Here’s what you can expect when working with us: Initial Consultation: We’ll start with a conversation to discuss your needs, preferences, and the scope of the project. This can be done over the phone, via email, or in person. Site Evaluation/Estimate: For most projects, we’ll schedule a visit to assess the site or space. This allows us to give you an accurate estimate and understand the full scope of work. Proposal & Agreement: Once we have all the details, we’ll provide a clear proposal outlining the project scope, pricing, and timeline. We’ll also go over our terms and get everything in writing with a signed agreement. Project Kickoff: After the agreement and deposit are finalized, we’ll schedule the project’s start date. We’ll work closely with you to ensure everything goes as planned and keep you updated along the way. Completion & Final Payment: Once the work is finished, we’ll do a final walkthrough with you to ensure everything meets your expectations. The remaining balance will be due at this time. Follow-Up & Warranty: We believe in providing excellent customer service even after the project is completed. If you have any issues or questions down the road, we offer a 12-month warranty for workmanship, and we’re happy to assist with any concerns.
