FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is unique to the individual client and dog and is based upon what the client wants and the personality of the dog. Not all dogs are the same and a training plan is built around the individual dog. Cost is set at a per session rate which is reduced for a multiple session training plan. A typical training plan usually consists of between 1 to 4 sessions.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My free evaluation gives me the opportunity to meet the client, get background information, evaluate the dog and then provide a training plan to achieve the desired results. This is also a great opportunity for the client to meet and evaluate me as a trainer before making their decision.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am certified in dog training and over the years I have volunteered at a number of rescue organizations. Each dog that I have worked with gave me a new experience to learn from. There are also a great many behaviorist in the world who are constantly publishing advances in the field and worthy of studying. As with trainers, their experiences are selflessly shared in order for others to learn through their mistakes or successes. Like a dog, a trainer is always learning also.
