- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Backyard Ponds charges customers for time and materials. We are happy to provide a quote based on the customer's requirements. Generally, all we need is a picture of your pond and a brief phone conversation to turn around a quick quotation. Please feel free to email or call us.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We provide an estimate based on the work required. If a visit is necessary, we will do that, although we generally provide estimates based on photos and requirements. We have a simple one-page agreement for our services for all customers. We bill you after the work is performed. You do not have to be present while work is performed, but we will need access to the pond and have power and water available.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We are always willing to discuss pond issues with customers and potential customers. We can also provide a free pond care guide in PDF form.
