- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Hourly Rate: Our standard rate is $75 per hour for most general handyman tasks (this includes labor and basic tools). Flat Fees: For some specific jobs, like installing a ceiling fan or painting a room, we offer flat-rate pricing. For example, installing a ceiling fan is a flat fee of $150, including materials and labor. Materials or supplies required for your project (such as paint, screws, or plumbing parts) will be charged separately. We’ll always provide an estimate for materials before we start any job.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The customer contacts us through phone, email, or our website to inquire about a specific service or project. Project Details: We ask for a brief description of the job they need done, including any relevant details like the location, scope of work, and urgency. This helps us understand the job and whether it's something we can assist with. Free Consultation/Estimate: On-Site Evaluation: For larger or more complex jobs, we offer a free consultation. One of our skilled handymen will visit the site to evaluate the work needed, assess the condition of the space, and provide professional recommendations. Estimate: After the assessment, we provide an accurate estimate for the job, including the labor, materials (if applicable), and any other associated costs. This estimate is usually provided in writing. Scheduling the Job: Agreement: Once the customer agrees to the estimate, we schedule the work. We offer flexible scheduling to accommodate the customer’s preferred time frame. Confirmation: We confirm the appointment via phone or email, ensuring that the customer is fully aware of the time and date. Completion of Work: Professional Execution: Our handyman arrives at the scheduled time, fully equipped to complete the job. We perform the work with attention to detail and professionalism. Quality Check: After completing the task, we ensure the work meets our high standards. If there are any remaining questions or requests, we address them before we finish. Final Walkthrough & Customer Approval: Walkthrough: Once the work is completed, we walk the customer through the finished project to make sure they’re completely satisfied with the results. Customer Feedback: We ask for feedback and if the customer has any concerns or requests for adjustments, we make sure to address them promptly.
