I recalled Daina when he initially installed my Bali window shade after I purchased it from JCPenney (he worked with them before the pandemic) 5 years ago. Recently, my window shade was no longer functioning as I expected and it needed to be repaired by the manufacturer. The manufacturer told me I needed to find a window treatment installer to remove it. After contacting JCPenney, they told me they no longer had an installer and I then performed a web search. After one company, told me they had no availability, I discovered Thumbtack.com. Daina's LLC was near the top of their list. I recalled his unique name and his photo proved to be the same individual who did this job in the past. Daina was able to work with my schedule to remove and reinstall my window shade. He has years of experience and had photographs to show off his skills.

Dana did excellent work installing my curtains (drapes) and traverse (track) rod. My job was a bit more complicated than normal: traverse rods are more complicated than a normal rod; I have plaster walls, not drywall; and I had an old rod that had to be removed. He arrived early and knew exactly what to do. He told me he used to do installation for JC Penney. The new curtains look beautiful. I only wish I had found him before I ordered the curtains and rod so I could have made a couple of better decisions about sizing and the brand of rod I ordered. He made it all work, but my recommendation to you, reader, is to talk to him before you place an order for curtains or rod so you get it right.
