I am PGA, Lynn Blake & Jim McLean Certified. I enjoy helping my students become the best version of themselves. I personalize my coaching depending on what my students goals or needs are. Let me help you enjoy golf more and have fun playing this wonderful game! I love seeing my students improve and enjoy this wonderful game! I enjoy coaching in every aspect, not just teaching my students to make solid, consistent ball contact. I work with every aspect of my students...whether that be the mental approach, management of the golf course, management of their emotions during their round, preparing for a tournament/event/match, or even if its just to achieve their own personal goals and have more fun with golf.

Having sat out of Golf for a decade and recently having "played" a round of golf, I decide to invest some money into lessons instead of spending hours watching youtube clips and make adjustments to my mechanics without really understanding why or how. That's where Spencer comes in. He responded to me within 5 minutes of outreach and scheduled a time that worked for us. He took the time to learn about my goals, athletic background, and how much golf I've played to assess my level. Within the first 5 minutes I was taking my first few shots without a long intro and simple instructions. His tips were very direct and simple to prevent someone relatively new from overthinking the task at hand. Within the next 15 minutes, I was able to chip the ball and get some loft, something that I was never able to do before. He was able to make small tweaks to my swing without overloading me with information. We continued to work on the short game with different looks at the hole to work on small differences on stance, body posture, and swings to achieve the same results and account for the variabilities in terrain. In short, I was a little hesitant to pay but immediately decided to purchase a package. I highly recommend Spencer as a beginner golfer or as someone who wants to work on those nuances that easily get lost as we fall into bad habits.

I have been playing golf for over forty years but over the last year my swing has become very inconsistent. The more I practiced the worse my swing got. I was embarrassing myself every time that I played so I sought professional help. I chose Spencer Hensley,PGA. After only two lessons, he helped me identify each fault in my swing and has helped me get a swing that will allow me to obtain more distance and better accuracy. He is very good at explaining the cause and effect relationship in the swing. Spence has gotten me excited about my game again!

Just a few minutes into my first lesson with Spencer, I felt as if I made the right decision in having him as an instructor. He keeps the teaching simple, uses video technology to help aide in the progress and provides detailed "lesson plans" in order to keep the student engaged and wanting to come back the next day!

Spencer was able to quickly identify the problems in my swing and did a great job explaining the changes I needed to make to hit down on the ball and make solid contact. Thanks to Spencer, I’ve set a new foundation for my golf swing and I’m playing much better golf as a result.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My Adult 1 on 1 private lessons are 1 hour long ($170/hour) or you can go with one of the packages I offer. My Junior (17 & under) 1 on 1 private lessons are 1 hour long ($120/hour) I also offer other package options if interested. ***Virtual/FaceTime lessons & Playing lessons for Adults & Juniors as well!***
